Sustainable Farmingby Skyler at SPLHSThere are two main types of farming; they include sustainable farming and industrial farming. These different types are utterly different from each other. Sustainable farming helps and protects the environment by using non-toxic chemicals and real, unmodified seeds. They refrain from using harmful fertilizers. Sustainable farming is known to be safer for the consumers because of the purity of the substances they put in to the farming. Other than being safe for the consumers, the product is also safe for workers to handle without concern.Sustainable farms create profitable jobs for a variety of people. It mainly helps create jobs for the people surround, but it also helps with jobs spreading throughout the nation because of the products that it brings. This increase of jobs expands the economy of the enclosing areas. The economy, if pushed, can spread beyond the few immediate towns. These towns’ prosperity can be manipulated to benefit bigger cities which would create a better economy, eventually, nationwide. Farming with a sustainable track provides more than plants, which is a constant misconception. Sustainable farming also includes cows and other animals that can produce milks among other products. To provide clean products the animals are fed natural food and drinks. They are kept away from toxic items for the same reason- to provide clean, safe products. Not only are they kept for their products, but they are bred and sold to other farms. This cycle creates better living for the consumers and the product makers. Industrial farming is the other main type of farming. It is also harmful to the environment, now and later. The methods of industrial farming causes the environment to lose its stability. Some of the activities that they include are methods focused on the industry. It supports the growing of food and animals which affects the soil. If the input of the animals are unhealthy or not safe, then the output will be equally unhealthy and hazardous. When they grow the food they use artificial products, and using these products harm not only the plants or animals, but the workers who have jobs in these factories. These toxins are continually spread after these products are shipped to the consumers it can also be harmful to them. These products are also used in feeding the animals which creates the never-ending cycle of spreading toxins. The chemicals that are used in these processes can cause long lasting effects to the general public. Works Cited"GRACE Communications Foundation GRACE Communications Foundation."
